ABSOLUTE option that appeared in LIVE 6 is not there in 8.1

Post by flipvert » Thu Dec 31, 2009 8:58 am

Please can someone help me...

In Live 6 I had an option that appeared when I used CTRL+M.
The option was to change the settings from ABSOLUTE to something else.

This enabled me to use a slider on my fader fox from bottom to top to turn ON and OFF the Beat repeat.

Obviously the absolute setting gave me ON or OFF and not a value from 0 to 64 or whjatever...

I can't see this option ANYWHERE in LIVE....

What happens now is that when I move the slider it FLICKERS on/off/on/off as I move it... rather than an absolute value of ON / OFF...

Please please someone tell me where this option is , as there is no reason to omit it from Live 8... it must be there somewhere...

hi

the menu for absolute/ relative signed bit values etc etc will appear in the status bar at the bottom left of the screen while you are ctrl m mode

you will have had to assign a fader or know etc to something in live before the option will appear

cheers
