Live 4.xx + BCF2000: NRPN control possible ?

I'm just wandering if anyone with Live 4.xxx and a Behringer BCF2000/BCR2000 has managed to get Live's mixer to respond to NRPN messages with any success ?

Using MIDI Continous Controller messages (particularly for levels in the mixer) doesn't give the same degreee of precision compared with the possibilities offered with NRPN messages.

If anyone has managed to get this to work it would be really good if you could possibly explain what settings to make in programming the faders on the BCF2000.

I've updated to Firmware 1.06 on the BCF2000.

Currently running Live 4.03

You can't do it with NRPNs but you can use high resolution (14 bit absolute) CC messages. Set the knob on the BCR to 14 bit absolute CC. Then midi map the knob to a parameter in live. When you turn the knob during the mapping process, look at the bottom of the live screen, it should say 14 bit absolute. I don't have a behringer to test this, but I know Live supports high res controllers, and the BCR2000 supposedly sends them. Keep in mind using high resolution CC messages reduces the total number of controller numbers available. Good luck.
