Keys

Post by sam90 » Thu Jan 07, 2010 4:52 pm

Hi there.
I have the Oygen 61 midi controller and I have some problems.
First of all, can somebody explain to me how I can assign the sliders and the knobs with ableton live?
And second:
Does anybody know a site with samples/effects from Radiohead and Krautrock?

1. Click on the midi square in the top right of the screen, everything you can control will go blue, next click on a control you want to assign and then move the slider on your keyboard. Job done.

2. No idea, sorry.

I tried it but nothing happens!
I added reverb to the instrument. When I tried to choose MIDI, all turned blue. However the knobs and the sliders still don't do anything..what's wrong?

In Preferences, under the MIDI tab, do you have your controller activated for MIDI Input?

Without the blue highlighting, if you press a key or move a slider does the midi indicator register that Ableton Live is receiving midi information? The indicator will flash in the top right of the screen.

Yes it does.
The knobs and the sliders are recognized by Live
