Gaps in Sample Editor

Hi, I'm having trouble with the sample editor right now. I just loaded 45 dance tracks into a live set and over half of them have playback gaps in the sample editor view. The wave form has a hole in it. The songs play fine up to the gap but after the gap, the tempo is all messed up. The only change I've made recently is an update to 8.1.1, is there an issue with this that anyone else is experiencing??
