I'm wondering if the LFO waveform 'Noise' on Operator is working as it should..
what I expect to hear at slow LFO rates is slow subtle changes but instead I hear changes that still have a pretty high rate..
- set up the LFO to modulate the Osc pitch with the Noise waveform..
- set the rate to the slowest rate possible and amount to the max value..
isn't that rate way too fast?.. especially compared to the other waveforms..
L8.1.1 / OSX
Operator: LFO > Noise waveform rate: too fast?
Re: Operator: LFO > Noise waveform rate: too fast?
Hello,
I guess it´s by design but i´ll check.
Best,
Christian

possibly due to the complexity of the noise waveform.

I doubt it..aftertouch wrote:possibly due to the complexity of the noise waveform.
If you look at the noise waveform on Analog you can perfectly slow it down to the actual rate you set it to..
maybe it's the difference between mathematically 'generated' noise and a noise sample/wavetable..
