IMPORTING MIDI TRACK FROM MPC TO LIVE

hi. got some projects that i've created on my MPC that i would like to remix using Live 8. i have the .wav files & .mid files in place & imported them into live, but of course they don't sound the same as when using my MPC. understanding that i have to change the pitch of some of my samples & the tempo of the track, is there another- less time-consuming way- to get this accomplished? please reply.

why do you have to change the pitch? How do you import the files? Firsthand let Live get synced by the MPC than I'd simply record the MPC tracks one after another in live.
