new live performance rig videos

Post by bvl » Fri Jan 15, 2010 9:35 pm

Hi, all -

I've recently posted 2 new videos showing how I set up and use my live performance rig. The first section deals with selecting, packing, and setting up the gear; the second part describes how I use my setup. It covers using Ableton Live with TouchOSC and OSCulator, pad and keyboard controllers, and overall concepts of live performance.

Good Videos!
Ableton’s engineers are hard
at work developing code that will allow our software to predict the future, but we don’t
anticipate having this available until at least the next major release.

Thanks very much! I was hoping people would find them useful; they're designed to be basic enough so those who are just starting out with live electronic music can understand the ideas, but deep enough that experienced folks can get new ideas.

These two videos are the latest in the series I've been doing called "chromedecay behind the scenes" (chromedecay is the label I run).
