Slugish Sounding very strange

So every once in a while when i have my set up out of no where it will just start going slow, The sound i mean Its very strange the BPM and what not will stay the same on live in the program but it sounds like it going 20 or 30 bpm slower than it really is set at. However even speeding it up to say from 130 to 150 it will sound like a bpm of 130 but still just sound very slugish and is like the music is chugging a long It happens everyone in a while and then i have to restart both live and my computer then it goes away any ideas?
