Shift actions for the APC40

I really like Maschine but I prefer to sample and control multiple effects through Live and the APC40. One of the things that makes Maschine so great is that you almost never have to look at the screen to perform most tasks. They can all be done from the controller. It would be great if Ableton supported clip deleting and copy/pasting directly on the controller itself so that Live didn't require some really basic tasks to pull you away from your flow. Maschine achieves this through shift functions. These work really well for keeping the interface simple yet powerful. The APC40 seems like it has enough control options that the same thing could be done with it.
