launchpad and lx1 clash

I didnt post this in the support forum, cos its not really a problem with ableton.

I am trying to use live 8 with a faderfox LV1 mixer and faderfox LX1 launcher on chained midi and a novation launchpad on USB, but as soon as the launchpad and lx1 are connected, the live scene selector goes crazy (up,down,up,down etc) without me touching anything.

If I just use the LX1 and LV1 everything works great, and if i just use the LV1 with the launchpad it all works great, so i guess its the launchpad and LX1 that are conflicting with each other.
Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the location of the actual file in ableton that holds all of the midi and key assignments then?
maybe i could check through it to find a conflict myself, because the midi learn page has no assignments listed..
