I've been meaning to tear apart an old USB game controller, make an enclosure for it, maybe remove the springs from the analog sticks and use it as a midi controller. I know it works because I've gotten my XBOX 360 controller to do it already (with GlovePIE) but I'd rather use a cheap one I don't use anymore if I'm going to disassemble it.
