Splitting up the library

Post by XTremeDaddy » Mon Feb 01, 2010 5:52 pm

Are there any tricks to split up the library so that I can keep the lightweight stuff on my laptop, but put the heavy weight stuff (like Session Drums and EIC) on a portable hard drive. Then, when I'm not using SD and EIC, I wouldnt have to plug in the hard drive?

Thanks,
EG

I seem to remember a post a while bcak regarding putting a shortcut into your library folder to the external drive.

Not sure if that works.
MacBook Pro, Mojave, Live 10, Logic Pro X, UAD Apollo & Satellites, UAD, NI Komplete, Izotope, Korg, Audio Damage, Fabfilter, Waves plugs.

After searching, I found these 2 good threads:

Sorry - I should've searched before posting.
