Tap Tempo question

Is there really no way to turn off auto start when taping in the tempo??????

sounds weird but try setting the signature to 8/8

(haven't tried this)

I believe that works when you change it to 8/4 so I'm sure 8/8 would work, but I want to just shut it off permanently. Anyway to do this? It seems weird that Ableton wouldn't make this an option.

the entry in the manual makes it sound like you can't

Thanks for the tip about changing the time signature... Genius workaround... haven't tried it when actually playing back clips/scenes, but when using ableton live as a host for my vsts this works great for getting my arpeggiators and delays in sync with the band... AWESOME! Thanks guys!
