set master tempo from input clip

If I record a clip into Ableton on guitar at a tempo in my head can live work it out. So that then build the rest of the track around that.

Check out the Looper device in Live 8. That should do what you want.

The Manual wrote:If the Set is not playing, Looper can analyze incoming audio and set Live's tempo to match it.

thanks i'll give it a go again only play with looper a few times.
