Live and Digi002R interface

Post by hat » Mon Oct 25, 2004 4:10 pm

Not the most stable combination. I get much stronger performance when using my Powerbook's outputs + headphones at the coffee shop than when at home using the Digi002R + monitors.

When I open a Live project, I usually have to wait a few seconds to make sure all my clips have fully loaded (which can take up to 20 seconds), sometimes I have to click on the actual clips to speed this up (you see the waveform load from left to right). If I otherwise just hit the space bar once the project is loaded, some of the tracks play out of sync with each other, it's very annoying. Also, when trying to record my external synth, I get gltches, drops, stutters, basically, just crap performance and pretty bad latency. Tried altering buffer settings and all, nothing improves it.

BTW, This is all using the Arranger view in 4.0.1, as I'm not ready to upgrade after reading the numerous problems many users are having.
