So what is the consensus about the best possible sound cards to use Live in a performance setting?
Preferably usb...
I tried to search for some relevant previous posts but I couldn't find any concise answers.
So what are you using, and do you like it? I'm concerned about latency issues... right now I'm using an EMU usb 2.0 soundcard but am looking to switch soon. I've heard good things about the maudio fast track ultra.
any suggestions?

Re: Best Soundcards for Live performance
I really enjoy the new Motu's MK3 series. There is 0 latency processing which is really great for live performances. There cue mix works great too. I sold my rme 400 for it and i'm really happy having swap them. Solid rock driver performance til 2 months !
Good luck

Thanks everyone. That rme fireface UC looks nice but seems costly. I just bought a new macbook and another akai mpc for live use so my budget is tapped out at the moment. The motu one seems popular as well. Definitely some soundcards I'll look into in the future. So i take it you guys don't have any latency issues with them? It's important to me especially because most of the time I'll be playing tapping out drum clips
