Ableton and NI Maschine Question

I'm not really sure how best to word this question. Basically I am trying to use the transpose control on the clip view to create some interesting effects. As you can only control the transpose of the selected clip what I am trying to find out is if there is anyway to get the focus to move to the clip you trigger with Maschine? As in as you trigger the next clip the focus automatically moves to that clip so you can start effecting the transpose on the new clip immediately?
