I thought this might be of interest to some of the producers here:

We have just released a Drum Hit sample library named Drum Tools 01

Drum Tools 01 offers 1950 electronic drum samples which have been crafted from the ground upwards using an extensive selection of high-end studio outboard gear. Unlike other libraries of this type you will find NO sounds ripped from vinyl or similar mediums. All sounds are 100% original and built by myself.

Yes I did. They sound from ok to good! I have lots of this stuf though. I would pay the double for 12 samples! After 20 years of electronic music production, huge drum sample archives has become the Achilles’ heel in my studio library. Its a never ending story trying to wade through thousands of samples. I have ended up using a lot of time picking out the 12 or so best of snares, kicks, rides, and so on. And im going to delete the rest.

What I would love: Drum racks with 12 drums max, but with a lot of modulation possibilities. A drum rack with 12 really good kicks, 12 snares, 12 rides, etc. Macros: decay, smart sound shape filter/eq (it could be a chain select macro that runs through different eq settings), pitch, and a macro to scan through layered sounds of the same drum slot, and velocity effects. In other words: very few samples, very high sonic quality, lots of tweakability to each of the drums. Among the 12 kicks, id typically like: a dub kick, dnb kick, hiphop kick, rock kick, acoustic-digital hybrid kick, IDM kick, house kick, techno kick, psy kick, hardcore kick, etc. Each with a lot of sonic tweakability and depth.

also: I like your demos, sounds very good! You must be using some nice production techniques to get the wide stereo image and vibrant sound? Its like there is some very fast panning going on at some of the samples. And some nice use of compressors too..

If you could produce some drum racks, that will output such a sonic quality, im shore everybody would be over it.

Included in the full version of drum tools there is infact 13 Ableton drum racks. Also included are patches for Battery, kontakt, Reason NNXT etc. I'm glad you liked the free taster pack.
