Focusrite Sapphire 6 USB

I recently purchased a Focusrite Sapphire 6 USB audio interface because my Native Instruments AK1 was freaking out every time I played a gig (audio corruption, drops outs, etc. common AK1 problem). NI doesn't seem interested in updating the drivers for this interface for some reason, so I decided to find an alternative. I had a very hard time finding any user reviews on the Focusrite so I just wanted to post that it is awesome. It sounds very fat and warm and the midi sync is rock solid. It's only usb 1.1 but I notice no difference in performance from previous firewire and usb 2 audio interfaces I have had in the past. So if you have a NI AK1 that is driving you to drink, more, or just need a reliable dj/cue ready 2 stereo out w/midi interface, then I highly recommend the Focusrite. No I don't work for them, I'm just psyched to have an interface that does what it's supposed to do! Cheers.

Hmmm... find myself doing battle with an AK1 right now. Curious ...what operating system were you running it on? Foscusrite sounds good ... having same issues as you with AK1.
