Abelton & the You Rock Guitar

Post by loquat » Sun Feb 14, 2010 7:54 pm

I really think that Ableton should partner up with the people at Inspired Music who make the You Rock Guitar http://www.yourockguitar.com/.
The very well priced You Rock Guitar would be so much fun to use with Tension and Collision. Tension seems to just sit there and go to waste because I can't control it to my satisfaction. Once I get the You Rock Guitar it'll be definitely be getting a lot more attention. If Ableton partnered up with Inspired Music I think it could be good for both companies and all of us users who have always dreamed of an affordable midi guitar setup.
Just my two cents.

looks cool! it would great if they add something like that, along with the AAS Acoustic & Electric Guitars. That will leave Tassman as the only AAS product which is also should be ported to the Ableton format.

well i played a gig with this thing on sunday at the multicultural fest for our region and it went off!
I had to build my own instruments out of samples with sampler, and tweak to get it right but man is it a cool piece of gear. it is a bit different from a traditional guitar, guitarists shouldn't expect to be as good at playing it as they are guitar, it will take some adjustment. I'll be using it for pretty much all of my shows from now on... and definately for songwriting.
Recomended to those who are prepared to work to get the vst's they are controlling sounding good. works instantly and quite well with garagebands instrument packs and ableton... so logic users will love the instantaneous plug and play action with GB vsts
