My mate here at work says he puts a side chain delay on his vocal tracks (with side chain signal being recvd from the vox track itself) meaning that the delay only kicks in when the vocals end (saving drawing loads of automation lines)
This is using Logic btw...
1> Do lives delays have side chain capabilty (browns)?
2> If not anyone know a delay that does? (XP, preferably share ware or free and not part of Logic)
(Last time I loaded the Live demo at work to check something the boss wasn't too convinced it was simply a spread sheet with this months sales,.... )

Live's delays don't have sidechain input. You could send the vocal track to a return track with the delay on it, followed by a compressor with sidechain input from the vocal track itself. Bring the threshold way down and adjust your attack & release settings.
