Saving group tracks to open in new projects

Post by scottwallis » Wed Feb 17, 2010 6:45 pm

Hi

Is it possible to save a certain amount of audio tracks that i have grouped together. Like say all my Percussion in one group with may have a compressor on it, so when i start a new project i can just open the percussion group track from my last project? So far i can aonly be able to drag in audio or midi tracks into new projects individually

Thanks

Would also like to know the answer to this question.

For instance, if i wanted to create a Drum Group track containing Superior Drummer 2 multi-outs, and then being able to save this and use it later in a different project. This would be a BIG time saver.

if you click onto your track title bar of your group track and drag it into ableton's browser, then it will be saved as a new live set and you will then be able to drag it into other live sets
