looping live while in EXT mode. MPC2500 sync

Hey everybody so I download the demo for Live 8, and I'm loving this looper tool. It's the missing piece to my setup, so I'm definitely buying Live 8 if I can figure this 1 last thing out. Basically I've got my Akai MPC2500 triggering Ableton perfectly throught EXT mode, MTC synced, however, I need ableton to follow the 4/8 bar loop that I have setup in my MPC, is there anyway for Ableton to loop bars when in EXT mode. I really hope this is possible, cause I wanna use the looper tool for basslines, guitar and vox effects and have it sync with the MPC, while sequencing inside the AKAI. I hope there's a solution to this cause I'm loving Live 8. Thanks so much.

When syncing Live with MTC to Logic, it follows exactly the loops that I have setup in Logic.
So it's basically possible. Maybe you need to tweak the MPC settings.

Every option in the MPC is on. MPC is master and I want live to LOOP and follow along. Anybody else have any experience with MPC's directly? THanks for the answer I'm still tinkering with it but no luck? You think it might have to do with it being a the DEMO version?
