I am messing around with the metronome, but can't seem to make it work in sync with the length of the actual music. Here is the issue: I want to set the metronome for 6/4 time. This means 6 qtr note beats per bar (which the note on the metronome promises to do). I am working with a two bar loop that is music in 6/4 time. So, you would think, "right, the metronome will play six beats for every 1 bar of the loop". Wrong. It plays a round of 6 quarter notes that are actually in 4/4 time on the bar. The first six qtr notes cross the bar, the second set of qtr notes end up back in the middle of the first bar.... The only thing that changes when the metronome is set to 6/4 is the place where the start-click occurs.
So, how do I get the metronome to do what it promises? Any help would be great. Thanks.

is the clip still set to 4/4? look in clip view.
new clips get the time signature of whatever the global time signature is. changing the global time signature doesn't change the clips that are already created.

Where is the time signature listed in the Clip View? I see Length but not the TS. Can I change the TS in the Clip View after the clip was created?
Thanks for the reply.

it's towards the left side in Clip View. click the little round buttons to open all the views (loop, sample, and whatever the third one is) it's in there. two rectangular boxes.

Yes. Thanks a bunch. So simple… when you know. The metronome is spot on now.
Take care,
