Hi! This is probably a pretty daft question, but please help me anyway...=)
I'm trying to import stem tracks (every track of a mix bounced seperately) into ableton live to use as backing tracks during shows. However, once I've dragged them into the arrangement window, they don't sync at all anymore. The track-lengths are all the same, but once imported they change and are different from one another. I figured it had to do with the WARP so I turned it off, but also set all the tracks to the same BPM (because some were showing up as 101.83bpm while others were 102.33bpm and the song is 102bpm.)
What am I doing wrong. I won't be needing to change the tempo on these tracks, however I need it to sync to a click, and probably create session clips out of the files.
So what am I doing wrong here?
Cheers,
Ziggy
Imported stereo tracks don't sync: n00b question...=)
Re: Imported stereo tracks don't sync: n00b question...=)
Hi Ziggy,
if you have switched "warp" off and the stems still don´t sync up correctly, check the arrangement clip´s start markers, they might have gotten moved by the autowarp function, you have to manually drag them back to the very beginning of the clips.
Best,
Jörg
