It is first time since I use XP pro- a year- that pc crushed like that.
I was recording midi to audio, from ext module and since you can do everything live in Live, just wanted to delete another midi track this - pc froze and there was horrible buzz, I failed to off in any possible way so had to just do it hard way. So now I started tedting it, this time there was no any rewire, no recording just play and tried to delete unused ( off ) midi track, samee thing happened, only I was able to close the program though it took 5-10 minutes. There came "serious error... save as ..." I noticed that suddenly there were 2 ! Live identical windows so I had to close 2 times.
Stage 3 of testing this time I just tried to move the position of unused midi track in the mixer stripe, same thing happens and again there comes another Live window so I have to close 2 times again it takes some 2-5 minutes to do it.
I have to continue working so wont repeat tedting but it is scary, if it would happen on a gig.
