Clip position and audio level output?

Is it possible for a 3rd party software to get clip position or the audio level of a track from live?

So one could.. say.. look at their launchpad and tell where the clip is in its loop? Or get an idea of the audio level by looking at a basic meter displayed on the launchpad?

Is this possible with M4L? Is this possible at all?
