Drums in, drums out

Hi

I have recorded a midi drum beat clip from a Casio keyboard. Now I want to assign (map?)each recorded instrument (Kick, Snare etc) to a likewise instrument in an Impulse set, but simply can't figure out how this is done. Can anybody help?

Hello,

The easiest and fastest ways is the the "slice to MIDI track" feature (Live 8 manual chapter 17.6.2 Slicing)
The harder way is to manually slice and consolidate the various regions in the arrangement and distribute the
individual samples to Impulse/Drumrack etc.
