How to get midi in only on SELECTED track

Hi,

I am just wondering whether something like this can be done:

In this case I want the Padcontrol to automatically send midi notes ONLY to the current selected track. I do not think this is possible correct?
I do have M4L, but just experimenting with the tools at the moment and delaying my dive into programming till summer.

Possible a single track could have PadKontrol in and then some M4L device that forwards the midi data to selected track only?

Tips/thoughts?

You couldn't just arm ONLY the track that you want the padKontrol to send notes into?

I might be missing something..
