APC 40 Mapping: How do you access a different set of banks?

Post by ajargy » Sun Mar 07, 2010 11:11 pm

Is there any way to access a different set of preset banks on the APC 40?
Do i need Bomes to do this?
Can you use the Shift button somehow to open a new set?
Thanks for the help guys! :D

I bought a great template from nativeKontrol and it allows for accessing other banks. Brilliant setup and well worth the $
The support is very good also.

Hi ya....

If you're setting out to create your own set with different banks then Bome's or M4L is the way forwards. My only advice (as i learnt to my cost) is avoid using the shift key on the APC40 to change banks at all costs! There's too much control surface stuff going on with that button to properly disable it without it impacting on other areas of your set!

I'm close to being finished with my max4live patch having just rearranged things so that regardless of the scene you're in you can choose the functionality of the activator, cue and rec/arm buttons.....

I haven't as yet though touched the clip launch grid section, as i find it does exactly what i want it to do.....!

Cheers

ps cheers Tone, crazy shit was what i'm aiming for!!
