I'm on a Mac OSX, using an Axiom 25 to control Reason 4 rewired to Live Suite 8.
I rewired Reason to Live via by creating an "External Instrument" track. Everything seems to work fine, but it appears that when I use my trigger pads, they trigger multiple sounds within the same Redrum instrument in Reason. I used Remote Override Edit Mode in Reason to set my first 8 drum sounds in Redrum to my 8 pads, but it looks like in Live, it triggers both my custom settings, and the default settings. So for example if pad 1 triggered the bass drum before I used Remote Override, and I set it to snare manually, when I trigger it w/ Live running, it triggers both the bass and the snare.
I do not have this problem when running Reason by itself, and interestingly enough I didn't have it when I rewired to Live by changing the I/O options in paired MIDI and Audio tracks in Live, but that wasn't a good way to rewire because I couldn't adjust the gain.
Any advice as to why I seem to be sending multiple MIDI signals is much appreciated. Thanks!
