Nope.
Unless of course you really need another 16 pads and 8 faders, knobs etc. at the same time as you're using Maschine. I could see that in a big performance setup. Then it's still quite a decent controller.

nope, especially seeing that the pads of maschine are superior compared to the akai pads, maschine's pads are more or less like the korg PadKONTROL pads, which are by far the best pads around.
plus i don't like the weight of the akai pads neither, bloody heavy they are for lugging around for live use.
