Launchpad switching from user 1 to user 2 stutter question?

So it's pretty simple. I fianlly got around to playing with the launchpad cause I don't have the apc 40 with me

I've got the launchpad under user fx to be similar to the mononome visual metronome (that's what I call it...)
You know where you can see as the clips progress with thru follow mode (makes timing much more visual and idiot proof)


But as I switch from user fx and user 2 I always hear a quick clipping or stutter.
I switched usb cords as well as usb ports and have the same problem. (max CPU usage was around 15%)

I did not know if there was a difference between user 1 and user 2

I don't feel like setting up the template in user 2 at the moment and did not know if anyone had an issue or if I should just try user 2 late night or tommorrow afternoon

I have not VST in the setup, just two acapella chopped over 8 clips, and 1 beat duplicated over eight clips in follow as well (with beat repeat, gate effect mapped under user 2)

No max for live either



This is not be just bitching it is a real question cause I really like the launchpad and just want to fix this issue

I switched my setup into user 2 and still have a stutter. I am sure that all these pieces of hardware have limitations but I did not think that what i was doing was complex???

When I get home I'll try the same thing on the apc 40 and let folks no if I have clipping

very disappointed that the launchpad has limitations but it might just be mine

My system pops and clicks when I move the red session square around. It seems to go away after it gets warmed up - can't verify that yet.

It is a bummer.

I said in another thread my system is working like a charm.

My guess is that it's a CPU problem. It's taking alot of power to do the secret handshake. I runmy buffer at 128 samples and I guess that if I increased that it would pop/click less. But I cannot afford to raise the latency, so I haven't experimented.
