Running 64 bit plugins in Live 7

Post by superistic » Mon Mar 15, 2010 7:36 pm

Ive recently upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit, just wondering seeing as Live is 32 bit, should i be installing the 64 bit version of my plugins. The likes of Trilian, z3ta, Surge have an option to install a 64 bit version but when i do this the plugins dont show in the Live plugin list
The 32 bit ones show up fine, should i just stick to using these?

Also for the likes of Trilian, should i be using this jbridge utility that people are going on about? Ive got 6 gig of RAM, i know windows can utilise this but not sure about Live or Trilian, its all a bit confusing 8O

Thanks for any help

There are a few DAW's out there (sonar, cubase i think, and pro tools just put out beta drivers) that have upgraded to 64 bit but live is not one of them.....

Sucks when komplete 6 just comes up as 32 bit
In a K induced Haze (the old K kind not the special K kind ), but an Asian spizz can sometimes bring me out! If ya don't get it, ya never will.
