Live 8.1.1 "forgets" I/O settings w/ Mackie Onyx

Post by kalinkaka » Tue Mar 16, 2010 12:23 am

Hello all,

I'm running Live 8.1.1 on Windows XP. My audio hardware is the Mackie Onyx 820i (driver version 1.7.0.1), which runs perfectly once the inputs are configured.

The annoying bit is that every time I restart Live, Live forgets about the soundcard I have configured before. Has anyone experienced this problem?

Something else that looks suspicious to me and may be related to the issue: Selecting "ASIO" as driver type, I have the "Mackie Asio Driver" two times. This might be a result of the many installation attempts I have made :?

Thank you for your time and best regards,
kalinkaka

Solved the problem: in fact, an unclean driver installation was the reason for the driver confusion. I had to delete some entries manually from the windows registry to make it work.

Hi,

i am thinking bout getting the i820, my question is this, does it have 4outs? so i can route cue-ing separate from main out? and if it has 4outs can u select cue-ing in preferences to 3/4?

Thanx.
