Freezing an external instrument track -> clicks

Hello,
I use Ableton Live 8 for recording my Korg M50 through a Tascam US144 audio interface. It works well, but when I freeze a track using an External Instrument device, each clip gets a clicking noise where the audio starts. Sometimes even the first note is missing. (Even if the midi does not start directly at the begin of the clip, but later.)
Anything I can do against it?

WTF-I wasn't under the impression you could freeze an ext inst. I remember a msg box saying something about it could not be done. Let me go back and try that again.
