Ableton Mapping / Triggering Question

Hey friends,

i am trying to figure out how to create / map up / layer an instrument in ableton so that i could lay a range of different samples out across a vst / sampler of some sort and then play them with a midi keyboard. do you guys have any idea how i could do this within ableton? thanks ^_^

Your question is very vague and I don't quite understand what you're asking. The drum rack is a drum sampler that you can use to map samples to individual keys and so is sampler. You can even use a chain of simplers to do the same if you wanted. This has nothing to do with VSTs.
