i get pops glitches and spikes on my sets occasionally, on scene changes.
i've tried upping the buffer, with limited success..
(i'll try higher..)
in general, when you get pops and spikes, what causes them and what are the
go-to fixes.
it seems my reverb channels can be a culprit, does opening up another
channel so as to distribute the program load a bit help anyone?
extreme tempos changes seem to take a toll.
would tempo changes combined with, say, four thick native reverbs be a prescription for a spike?
i'd say my sets are moderately complex, but not unreasonably so..
relativity, i know.
unfortunately i'm a little short on time for this post.
if anyone can chime in, i'll be back later...
cheers,
MacBookPro 2.16, 3GB RAM,
Live 8.1.1 w/max (but not running it in sets in question)
