Slow & Unresponsive to loading in new Audio Tracks (8.1.1)

Hi,

More issues for me with Live 8.1.1 I'm afraid, and aside from the multiple and unresolved problems I've experienced with routine, unrecoverable crashes in the past , this recent problem should be relatively easy to fix (I hope!).

I open a new project and drop, say 10 audio tracks into the Session window, and after about 5 seconds, processing of them grinds to an almost complete stop and the whole program becomes slow and almost completely unresponsive. The only way of quitting is through a Force Quit. No plug ins are active or applied - it's literally a brand new project. This kind of thing has never been an issue before, and even in the same version of Live on my laptop, it's always been rock solid.

I have done Jorg - did so last week, but at the risk of being a little facetious I got a message back saying Technical Support would be slower and less responsive than normal!
