I need help with a record delay problem

Post by Daeronb » Mon Mar 29, 2010 6:25 pm

Hi,

I've been having this annoying delay problem with my channels, i've made 2 screenshots that should clear the problem up and they are at the bottem of this post.
The problem: i've been trying to make a kick with operator which all went well. Then i tried to route the operator track to an audio track with which i wanted to record te kick. I did this by setting the OUT of the operator track to the audio track, I then pressed the IN button as the monitor setting for the audio track and recorded it all. I noticed this annoying delay between the midi signil and the recorded wave, shown in the picture below.

Then i tried it the other way around: i set the output of the operator track to sends only, and i set the input of the audio track to my operator tracks. Result. No latency!!

This would have solved the problem be it not that i want to record multiple midi tracks onto that one audio track. which makes this way useless because i can ofcourse only choose one midi track as the input of the audio track.

Does anyone know what i'm doing wrong here? which settings are of? Help would be greatly appreciated!

tnx!

is there a track delay set on the track? (session view, bottom of the track, might be hidden, click the button on the far right bottom to make them show.)
