Thought you might want to see my "dream creation"
this is for a contest on digitopia.com via CDM.com.

i am sharing hoping that even if I lose the contest, maybe the Abe's can pull this off in a year or two?
the key is that it will connect to your APC, have a spinning platter, and allow scratching of clips!

I want one, I'm looking at a custom midi build through the hale micro card that is very similar, good job on the design.

Do you have any pics of what you're working on? I'm not really skilled enough to make it on my own unfortunately. I'll have to look up that hale micro card.

minus the Nintendo blue game buttons under the platter. Other then that i really like the design on that. Would be cool.

As for the Nintendo buttons, NO WAY that's a must have!! Have you seen the djtechtools.com VCI mods or MidiFighter???! I own a midi fighter and those arcade buttons are no joke for beat juggles! One of the most useful compact pieces of gear on the market right now IMO.

split it into 3 and make it modular, that way you don't have to haul around a massive box. . . Plus some ppl aren't going to need all the functions.
I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.

actually that's exactly the concept. It's an add on attachment. So you can also use it standalone, or with an APC20, or even connect like 3 of them on either side for six deck madness. They connect into each other AND to the APC40/20 by removing the endbells. To put another way, picture the APC20/40 in the middle with these add on "decks" on either side.tw1nstates wrote:split it into 3 and make it modular, that way you don't have to haul around a massive box. . .
