so... basically .. all we need to do is..
get an access to a natural never-ending energy supply..
transfer industry zones to outer space..(once we get that juice)
robots.. replicators..ipads
quantum computers...(on which live5000 would run flawlessly..)
the ability to travel without moving..

But all that doesn't account for the fact that people just don't like people that aren't like them. All the tangible excuses behind squabbles and wars are just distractions to the main reason that "you suck" coupled with the few in the world that want to achieve king of everything status.

We could easily solve the world's resource problems except for the fact that the few in charge really don't want that to happen if it means leveling the playing field of their status, wealth, and grip.
