Eventide H8000FW routing within Live ?

Hello Abes,

I've been breaking my head trying to route an Eventide H8000FW through Ableton Live. Anyone using it through live, while using the Firewire connectivity?

With the H8000 set as my soundcard, all the sounds are already affected within Live. I was hoping to use the unit as a Sends/Returns FX unit, maybe by using the External Instrument plugin.
Routing presets tried include: Analog & Firewire AB........ Firewire 8 Track AB. I want to be able to use the 8 tracks of Firewire within Live for FX. Even tried running it as an 'Aggregate Device'.

Hope someone has gone through this same issue Since, it works within Logic using the I/O plugin, I doubt the Eventiders can provide me with Ableton related help

You might use the external audio effect plug-in device for this purpose.

Yes, but with my routing option, the sounds are already affected. How do I isolate the FireWire channels? So I could use them on Sends/Returns.
