The presonus fp10 an firestudio can be daisy-chained, as far as I know.
MacBook Pro 13" Retina i7 2.8 GHz OS 10.13, L10.0.1, M4L.
MacStudio M1Max 32Go OS 12.3.1

Ultrlites can be chained as well. What type of socket (USB, Firewire, Internal) are you trying to connect to?

You could use the lightpipes off of a MOTU 828MK3 and have 16 channels as well.

Re: 16 channel sound card!!
I don't know if they are still available but there was a guy selling two Echo Audiofire 8's for $350. I don't know if that was for both or a piece but if it was was for both you may want to jump on it. The drivers are usually very stable. Mic pre's are ok but the A/D converters are really nice. Might do the trick for you if they're still around...
Re: 16 channel sound card!!
hello guys,
if i use two sound will it work on ableton because you can only use one sound card? how would link the two sound card togever? is it easy?

@olivier15,
Out of curiosity, why do you want to run 16 discrete audio channels from your computer into your Mackie?
