Hey guy!
Im new to Abelton and just purchased Live 8. I was wondering if I installed it correctly. I mean, Its running fine but im not sure if what I have as far as instruments is what im "supposed" to have. Up in my top left corner browser, under the instruments folder, im seeing Drum Rack, Instrument Rack, External Rack, Impulse and Simpler.
Now maybe im not supposed to get these other instruments but I wanted to make sure: Sampler, Collision, Operator, Tension, Analog and Electric. These ar all NOT there. If these are not to come with the program then thats fine. I was just making sure that if they came with Live 8, I didnt get them.

Those instruments are part of Ableton Suite, you bought Ableton Live ... go to each of these products to see what's included and what not, but If you bought Live (not Suite) then yep it's correct that you don't have those intruments.

Ok, cool! Thanks. I was just making sure that I if I had them, did I need to activate them or something. But I know now that it didnt come with the version I have, no need to worry about it right now.
