Hey guys
Just wondering if anyone could provide some ideas on how to set the following up so me and my soon to be flatmates can jam and make breaks,dnb and psytrance tracks with the following gear hoping to eventually take it to the stage.
Mine:
Laptop - (2gig, 256mb, 40gig, M-Audio transit usb soundcard)
Live 4
Midi Keyboard - Edirol PCR 50
Three turntables - Stanton Str8 60's
Two DJ mixers - DJX700(4 channel) & a DJX300(3 channel)
Mate 1:
PC - (3gig (athlon 64), 1gig (latest and greatest ram), 140gig(raid), Soundblaster Audigy 2ZS - in other words, it's a beast!)
Live 4
Keyboard - Kawai K5000
Mate 2:
Digeridoo
Bongos
Any ideas how we could make this into a sweet live setup. What would be the master midi clock?, How would the laptop and PC connect? Would we need to mic the digeridoo and bongos? I want to still be able to jump up and mix in a record and do some turntablist stuff with mate 2 on the decks. Is there a way to mic the digeridoo and run it through live for effects or should we buy the Kaoss Pad 2. Any other suggestions for equipment we could add?
