Hey,
What should i pay for a used 15" macbook Pro 2.8 500-7200HD?
Did the old models drop a bit in price when the new was released 2 days ago?
Thanks

If you are in the U.S., try Guitar Center for pricing - once a new model is released, the old model (which was the latest and greatest last week) is usually marked down to cost in order to free up inventory dollars, at least at Guitar Center (most other places will only mark down clearance items 10% at first, but GC usually cut to the chase on that sorta stuff, although, if they don't have a clearance model in a sealed box, I wouldn't buy).

Check in Apple's Clearance page (at the bottom left of their store page) for last generation models that have dropped in price. These are new machines, not refurbs. I saved $700 on my brand new MacBook Pro when the newer models came out.
But it's catch as catch can -things seem to come & go there, so you have to check it often.
