save and transfer warped clip into simpler?

I really like working on clip view first as samples are warped perfectly almost always. But then i like transferring to simpler for more control with filters, etc. Everytime i drag the clip from clip view into simpler it loses its warping. Any way to avoid this? I have a feeling it has to do with the "save" button yet i have not figured out how.
