Different settings times for different samples in Sampler?

Hey all

Is it possible to have different release times (or any other setting) for different samples within a single instance of Sampler?

My question is specifically regarding a bass sound and a synth sound. I want the bass sounds to play fully no matter how long I hold down a key, but I want the synth sound to have no release, so it cuts off when I stop holding it. It seems like no matter what i do right now, release settings (and most everything else) is global to all samples.

Pretty simple stuff, but I'm new to Live... perhaps "Sampler" is only meant to hold a single sound or idea rather than be an all-in-one box like Battery, or an MPC?

Just make a rack with several samplers and your good to go.
