GENERAL MIDI -- PLEASE!!

Dear Ableton,

Please provide support for General MIDI.

When previewing MIDI files, it seems to me that it should either connect to the GM sound module inherent in Windows/QuickTime.

Ideally speaking it would be great if somehow or another a GM/GM2 VSTi could be provided, something that works just like SONAR's TTS-1.
Unfortunately this synth is only a DXi and requires a SONAR license, and Live provides no DX/DXi support.

GM has been around for a long, long time and it would helpful if Live would support this.
